The vibrant campus of Sri Balaji University turned into a bustling marketplace during Vipani 2K25, a dynamic management fest conducted in the month of February that brought business theory to life. With over 60 stalls and 250 enthusiastic students participating, the event offered much more than just fun and food—it served as a live laboratory of entrepreneurial learning.
The event was graciously inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr.G.K Shirude Sir along with respected Principal Dr. G.Y. Shitole Sir, adding prestige and motivation to the occasion. Their inspiring presence encouraged students to give their best and embrace the experience as a stepping stone toward real-world business challenges.
From sizzling food counters and handmade accessories to exciting games that sparked laughter and cheer, the stalls drew a large crowd. But beneath this lively atmosphere lies a deeper objective: to instil practical business skills among management students.
Each stall served as a mini enterprise where students had to manage purchasing of raw materials, predict demand, price their offerings strategically, and attract customers through effective marketing. They got a chance to engage directly with people, develop communication and persuasion skills, and handle customer queries with confidence. Negotiating with buyers and suppliers helped them learn the importance of relationship-building and flexibility in business.
The event also fostered creativity and innovation, not just in curating unique product mixes but also in marketing strategies. Students skilfully leveraged posters, social media and attractive deals to draw crowds. They experienced the excitement of running a business, along with the stress and unpredictability that comes with it. Making quick decisions during rush hours and managing customer expectations taught them the importance of being adaptable and responsive.
A special mention goes to the Student Council of SCM, who managed the entire event with professionalism and dedication. From stall allocation to logistics and coordination, the Council ensured that everything ran smoothly. Their leadership and teamwork played a key role in the success of Vipani 2K25.
Vipani 2K25 was more than just a campus carnival. It was a powerful platform for learning-by-doing, nurturing future managers, marketers, and entrepreneurs. It instilled confidence, taught accountability, and encouraged innovation. As the aroma of success lingered and the balance sheets got tallied, one thing was certain—Vipani 2K25 would be remembered not just for the profits earned, but for the lessons learned.
Here’s to learning beyond classrooms, to real-world experience, and to a generation of students who don’t just study business - they live it.
