Dr. Rekha Kumar is a seasoned academic professional and currently serves as the I/C Principal of the School of Commerce and Management, Sri Balaji University, Pune, India. In this leadership role, she oversees the academic, administrative, and strategic operations of the school, with a focus on curriculum development, quality enhancement, faculty mentorship, and the effective execution of institutional initiatives. She holds a Ph.D. in Financial Management from the Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA), Savitribai Phule Pune University, and an MBA in Finance, reflecting her robust academic foundation and commitment to advancing management education.
With over two decades of teaching experience, Rekha has instructed a broad spectrum of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Corporate Accounting. She has authored the book Corporate Accounting, providing a comprehensive resource for students and professionals in management education Additionally, she has actively contributed to academic research through numerous paper presentations at national and international conferences. Her scholarly work has been recognized with the Best Paper Award at the Doctoral Conference Anusandhan, highlighting her scholarly impact and expertise in the field.
In addition to her teaching and research contributions, Rekha provides visionary leadership in institutional governance as the IQAC Coordinator and an active member of the Board of Studies.
