Bio

Mr. Ajay Kumar has been an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Sri Balaji University, Pune, since June 2025. He holds an MBA in Marketing from the Department of Management Studies at Pondicherry University. He is pursuing a PhD at the School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad. 

 

Ajay teaches courses on marketing specialisation, digital marketing, consumer behaviour, international business operations, and retail management, guiding students in realising their potential through a personalised, supportive approach. His research interests lie in Consumer behaviour related to new technologies, digital marketing, and Food Delivery Apps (FDAs). He has made significant contributions to his field with seven publications in international journals, including five in ABDC, five in Scopus, and Web of Science. Ajay has published a chapter in a Scopus-indexed edited book, as well as journal articles. Ajay actively reviews manuscripts for academic journals such as Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Psychology & Marketing, Journal of the Knowledge Economy, Global Business Review, and NMIMS Management Review.
